Biochemist from Universidad Católica de Chile and a visionary in the development of biotechnological products, with a career that spans giants like Monsanto and prestigious institutions like UCSD in the USA.

Luis leads the bioinformatics team. He drives the development of algorithms combining genomics and data science to transform the microbiome into real decision-making tools. His focus is on creating smart solutions aligned with the needs of our clients. He’s a biochemist, with a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. Bioinformatician and data scientist with extensive experience in omics technologies.

A specialist in massive data analysis applied to microbiology, he has participated in key genomic surveillance projects, including the monitoring and analysis of all available SARS-CoV-2 data in Chile and Latin America.
