Alejandro is a visionary in the development of biotechnological products, with a career that includes giants like Monsanto and prestigious institutions like UCSD in the USA. His career has been marked by success in scaling biotechnological startups, generating not only high-impact scientific advances but also multi-million dollar sales. At Codebreaker, he leads the ambitious mission to transform the microbiome into a key tool for producing more food with fewer resources, promoting sustainability and innovation in the food industry.

Diego brings over 13 years of experience in the life sciences industry, combining a passion for understanding customers with a strategic vision to create lasting value. For more than a decade at Thermo Fisher Scientific, the global leader in biotechnology, he led high-performance teams and closed multi-million dollar deals. Today, at Codebreaker Bioscience, he leads our commercial expansion, connecting biotechnology and the transformative power of the microbiome with the solutions our clients need to tackle the challenges of the future.
Juan Ugalde
Senior Bioinformatician and Professor at UNAB
Researcher in bioinformatics/microbiology/genomics from Chile.
Expert in applying bioinformatics and genomic approaches to understand the microbial world around us. He is also an adjunct researcher at C+, the Center for Research in Technologies for Society (Faculty of Engineering, Universidad del Desarrollo), and at the Millennium Nucleus for Collaborative Research in Antimicrobial Resistance (MICROB-R).
